Christmas with the Martin's

Jenna's first Christmas was very eventful. Not only was it her first Christmas, but it was her first time falling off a bed, and slicing her finger on a Coke can. Eli thought he could hold her while he laid on the bed and she fell out of his arms. Luckily there were no marks. It didn't look like she hit her head. I think it just scared her really bad, me too! Eli was a little under the weather also. Other than that I think Santa did a great job getting the right presents. Eli loved his lego dragon castle, and face paint. Jenna loved her Animals to go with her Animal Train. Jenna didn't quite make through the opening of presents, she had to take a little nap! Eli had a blast. He even loved getting new clothes!

Driving to Texas with Children

Happy Late Thanksgiving to everyone! We spent our Thanksgiving in Beaumont Texas. The locals called it Boremont. I really think we all had a nice time. I was able to spend much needed quality time with my family, and get a break from work! Jenna and I took many naps together. Eli got to run around with all of his cousins. James watched a lot of You Tube.

The trip down was very interesting! Try traveling with a 5 month old baby? Eli did great. He watched many movies, and colored a lot of pictures. Jenna slept (sometimes), fussed (a little bit), and wanted out of her carseat (A LOT).

As always, it is just nice to be back home!

New Car 11/2/07

I have joined the Minivan Land! Yesterday James and I went out and bought our first Minivan! It is a Saturn Relay. It is silver, or in our world a Silver Bullet! Amazingly enough it is pretty awesome! I will add a picture later!

Big Girl Jenna

Jenna had her 4 month Doctor's Appointment on 10/18/07. She is 15.4 lbs, and 23 1/4 in. In a percentage break down that means she is the 75th percentile for weight, 95th percentile for height, and 25th percentile for her head width. The Doctor said she had a peanut head! She did get her shots, which she hates!
Jenna has officially started eating rice ceral. After her first Big Girl Meal she was sitting in Daddy's lap and she was just so wiggily. Daddy placed her on the floor to play and she just started scooting everywhere. Then out of no where she rolled over (from back to front). Now she is a rolling girl. Except for now when she gets on her belly she gets stuck! She forgot how to roll back over to her back, so we have to help her!

Creating More Martins

Jenna Lynn Martin joined our little family on 6/7/07. She is now 4 months old, and has been so much fun! Needless to say she is getting big, and developing a very sweet personality! She loves to hug and cuddle! She dislikes being hungry and sitting in the car when she is sleepy!
Eli has just been the best big brother! He loves to hug and love on Jenna, but just enough that he is not obnoxious! Eli has just started Kindergarten and he loves it! He rides the bus to and from school. Wow he's such a big boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next week we have Parent Teacher Conferences, so we will find out how he is doing!
James is working at Bright Point in Plainfield. The biggest complaint I get from him, is that he has been really busy at work! It has been really fun watching James interact with his new baby!
I of course am still working for the State of Indiana! Good times!!!!!!!!!!!!! Currently I am just enjoying myself in my new mommie role!
